R2 - Recognisable researcher
Possessing at least a doctoral degree and can account for relevant scientific or artistic achievements and active participation in scientific or artistic life, presentations of artistic work manifested in particular through presentations at conferences, symposia or significant achievements in professional work.
NECESSARY COMPETENCES:
- has the competences of „a first stage researcher”; (see R1)
- can plan, organise, and carry out scientific research;
- contributes to the development of a discipline by carrying out original research, expanding the body of knowledge and its application in practice by disseminating the results in the form of publications, patents, or implementations;
- is able to communicate with the scientific community, present the results of own research (and demonstrate their value for developing the discipline);
is able to manage own career development, determines realistic and achievable career goals, develops, own skills and competences.
DESIRED COMPETENCES:
- understands the value of own research work in the context of products and services in the economic and public sectors;
- is able to communicate with a wider audience in his/her area of expertise;
- promotes technological, social, or cultural progress in a knowledge-based society;
- can mentor „first stage researchers”, helping them to become more effective in their research.
