Employees of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts and Faculty of Humanities are invited to take part in the latest training courses offered as part of the 'NEW ERA OF EDUCATION' project.
Training date: November 2018 - February 2019.
The application form can be submitted in Room 1 (Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts, Dean's Office, Marta Mistrzyk, MA) and in Room 33 (Faculty of Humanities, Agata Michalska, MA).
'Coaching and mentoring in the work of an educator' 2 groups/10 persons * 24h: acquisition of competences in the field of formation of the teaching and upbringing process using coaching skills, tools and techniques; the latest knowledge in the field of development and change concerning young people; individualisation of the teaching process.
'Inspire, enthuse, fascinate' 2 groups/6 persons * 30h, (6*4h + 6h): enhancement of the academic teacher's knowledge with information on how to prepare and deliver inspiring lectures and exercises in preparation for professional interaction with students and mass media. Body language, prevention of long-term stress. 4 modules regarding principles for running inspiring, unconventional classes: charisma, innovative didactics, storytelling, learning by doing. Skills in reading student's feelings and needs, audience cooperation, self-presentation and influencing the audience. Classes are designed to be workshops.
Creating multimedia presentations, using 3D techniques - 1 Group * 16h, Group (2*8h): including the use of databases and their utilization in the educational process. The participant of the training will acquire skills to create presentations using modern elements of information transfer. A multimedia presentation is a form of audiovisual communication, a form of expression content of which is illustrated with multimedia elements. i.e., drawings, photos, sounds, animations, films.
Academic Teaching Excellence 2 Groups/10 persons * 35h; learning how to plan and teach effectively in English; mastering advanced communication skills in English. The trainee will benefit from the latest research in the field of teaching in English.
