Recruitment regulations
1. Recruitment of a participant to the Project is carried out by the Project Promoter.
2. Recruitment will be carried out in accordance with the principles of equal opportunities for women and men and persons with disabilities.
3. Students of the last four semesters of the first-circle full-time studies in the field of Pedagogy (48 students) and Journalism and Social Communication (40 students) are eligible to participate in the Project.
4. Recruitment criteria:
1)Formal:
Status: status as a student of the last four semesters of the full-time first-cycle studies in the field of
Journalism and Social Communication or Pedagogy
2) Substantive: grade point average and involvement in student activities and/or disability certificate:
These criteria will be assessed as follows:
- average grade – the number of points will be equal to the average grade of the last semester of study, calculated in accordance with the study regulations.
- documented activity in academic clubs and student organisations – 0-5 points (1 point per activity).
- disability certificate –2 points.
5. Recruitment will be internal, conducted among design students during the academic year:
1st call: Oct-Nov 2017/18
II call: Oct-Nov 2018/19
6. Stages of recruitment:
1) Information campaign in the faculties covered by the project about the possibility of participation in the Project, conditions of participation and benefits of participation in the Project – e-mails, information meetings.
2) Formal applications to the Project: application form, declaration of participation including a statement of consent to the processing of personal data; forms of recruitment documents will be available for download from www.ujk.
3) Submission of the recruitment documents by the student to the Course Tutor or the Project Office.
4) The Recruitment Committee (e.g., Project Manager, Documentation Officer) will formally check the application and score it in accordance with the given criteria.
5) The students with the highest number of points, according to the limit provided by the Project for the given course, will be qualified, the others will form a reserve list.
6) The results of the recruitment will be documented in a protocol.
7) Candidates not qualified for the project will be able to submit appeals in writing to the project manager within 7 days.
8) Students will be notified by email of the outcome of the recruitment, lists will be made available at www.ujk.edu.pl
9) Should the number of applicants exceeds the number of places in the project and to address the situation when a person already qualified for the support resigns from the participation, a reserve list will be created.
7. Each Project Participant will be subjected to a competency test; the results of the test will allow to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Project Participant in terms of their competencies.
8. The results of the survey will be the basis for the Project Participant's participation in individual forms of support.
9. The Project Promoter does not guarantee participation in the Project to all interested students.
