General information about the Project
The Project, co-financed from funds of the European Social Fund as part of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020, Priority Axis III Higher Education for the Economy and Development, Measure 3.1 Competences in Higher Education, on the basis of agreement no. POWR.03.01.00-00-T077/18 concluded with National Centre for Research and Development.
Project period: from 01.09.2019 to 31.08.2022.
Project objective
Development of educational programmes and implementation of teaching activities for 260 pupils/students and 90 parents/legal guardians at Jan Kochanowski Children's University in Kielce in the period from 01.09.2019 to 31.08.2022.
The project will include the following activities:
- CEREMONIAL INAUGURATION AND GRADUATION
- 'MAN AND NATURE' MODULE:
1. Physics in space and at your fingertips.
2.Life is an organism.
3.Everything is chemistry.
4. Logic in motion, motion in logic!
- 'MAN AND MODERN TECHNOLOGY' MODULE:
1. New media in a different view, or what a smartphone, tablet, computer and console can do.
2.In two worlds… Online and digital games versus reality.
3.Can modern science do without information technology?
4.How to cooperate on the Internet? Word, image, sound and their processing in virtual space.
- 'MAN AND SOCIETY' MODULE
1.Homo loquens… Principles of good communication between people.
2.Brain training, or lifelong learning.
3.Everyday PR, or working on your image.
4.I am, therefore I act! A community of good relations in the pursuit of innovation.
- 'MAN AND CULTURE' MODULE
1.The past is trendy! History and prehistory explain our world.
2.Storytelling… word and story in everyday life and (biblio)therapy.
3.Visual creations in online and offline spaces.
4.Sound in perception and art.
- 'PARENT AT THE UNIVERSITY' MODULE
- CHILDREN'S SCIENTIFIC SYMPOSIUM: 'MAN CHANGES THE WORLD'
Target group
The project is aimed at 350 people, including 260 pupils/students aged 6-15 attending primary schools in the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship and neighbouring towns and 90 parents/legal guardians of children enrolled in the project.
