Brief description :

The „Conference Environmental Archaeology (CEA)” is an international conference bringing together researchers involved in studying the environment with a particular focus on archaeology. This event is held periodically in European countries (Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia) and is organised by an association under the same name. The latest edition, in 2022, for the first time takes place in Poland, in the Świętokrzyskie region. Researchers from the Department of Geomorphology and Geoarchaeology IGiNoŚ JKU and the Polish Association of Environmental Archaeology in cooperation with the Museum of Ancient Metallurgy of the Świętokrzyskie Region in Nowa Słupia and the Archaeological Museum and Reserve „Krzemionki” is responsible for its organisation in our country.
