Project Description:
Project implemented by Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce,
named: 'OPERATION INTERNSHIP!' with the number POWR.03.01.00-00-S074/17, is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund,
Axis III Higher education for economy and development Measure 3.1 Competences in higher education of the Operational Programme 'Knowledge Education Development
2014-2020.'
Project Objective:
Improvement of the competences of 130 students (115K,15M) of practical profile faculties (Nursing, Obstetrics, Physiotherapy) by participation in the
high quality 16-week internship programmes over a period of
01.04.2018 - 31.03.2020.
The project is aimed at third-year full-time students of Nursing (60 people), Obstetrics (30 people) and Physiotherapy (40 people),
in two editions, i.e., after the 2017/18 and 2018/19 academic years.
Project activities include implementation of high quality internship programmes
in the medical and health service facilities, compliant with the education results of the aforementioned fields of study, as designed in accordance with Council Recommendations No. 2014/C88/01 of 10.03.2014 on the quality framework for internships.
The the internship includes 368 hours (16 wks * 23 hrs), and is scheduled to be completed during the non-teaching months at the university. The proper conduct of the internship will be supervised by a supervisor on site and a university supervisor.
As part of the project, Interns will receive:
- internship grant
- professional support for the implementation of the internship programme
- preliminary medical examinations
- accident and liability insurance
- consumables necessary for the proper implementation of the internship programme (e.g., protective clothing, materials necessary for the performance of intern tasks)
- reimbursement of accommodation and travel costs - for internship organized in places located more than 50 km from the intern's plase residence (for 50% of UP)
- reimbursements for public transport costs (for 50% of UP)
Project Value:
Eligible expenditure: PLN 1 760 366.40, including:
- financing: 1 707 555.40 PLN (including from ESF funds: 1 483 636.80 PLN)
- own contribution: PLN 52 811
