M-terapia - an innovative therapy kit for children and young people with disabilities and dysfunctions breaking down barriers in education
The Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, as a partner with M sp. z o.o with its registered office in Cieszyn (Leader), implements the project entitled "M-terapia – innovative therapeutic kit for children and young people with disabilities and dysfunctions breaking down barriers in education".
The project is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, Measure 4.1. Research and development, Sub-measure 4.1.4 Application projects under the POIR contract.01.01.01-00-0106/19.
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative therapeutic-educational kit which, taking advantage of the basics of music therapy, will constitute an appropriate therapeutic tool that children with special educational needs can use to learn proper interpersonal relations while actively participating with their peers and developing their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional skills. The "M-Terapia" kit constitutes an excellent method for changing educational patterns and initiating the process of inclusive education, the main purpose of which is the participation in the educational system of all students at risk of exclusion, as well as promoting opportunities to develop their own potential.
The activities planned in terms of the project will be based on developing an innovative methodology for conducting therapeutic-educational classes with the use of the "M terapia" kit and conducting research on its use in work with children aged 6-10 with autism spectrum disorders, at risk of developmental dyslexia, as well as children with speech disorders.
Implementation period – 01.09.2020 – 30.06.2023.

The project budget is PLN 5 444 441.25, including:
