Academic Legion
Please be advised that due to the implementation of the 6th Edition of the Academic Legion programme (non-commissioned officer module) there has been a change in the deadline for students interested in taking part in additional specialist training in cyber security to solve the qualification test. Currently, the aforementioned students must solve the test no later than 31 May of the current year.
The test is available on the Academic Legion e-learning platform at https://la.elearning.wp.mil.pl/.
In order to access the above test, you must complete and sign the application form with the information clause in Appendix 1 and the consent to the processing of personal data in Appendix 2. Candidates must send a scan or photo of the documents in question to the following email: k.kiniorski@ron.mil.pl.
We would like to kindly inform you that students participating in the 6th Edition of the Academic Legion programme can take the qualification test, which entitles them to participate in additional specialised training in the field of cyber security (cyber module).
The necessary prerequisites for taking part in the cyber module, in addition to completion the aforementioned placement test, are:
- submission of an application for the practical part of the training;
- holding the rank of reserve soldier (private corps);
- passing the non-commissioned officer module as part of the practical part of the training.
Those wishing to participate in the specialised training must solve the test no later than 19 May of the current year. The test is available on the Academic Legion e-learning platform at https://la.elearning.wp.mil.pl/.
In addition, in order to access the test mentioned above, an application form with the information clause in Appendix 1 (below) and consent to the processing of personal data in Appendix 2 (below) must be completed and signed. Candidates must send a scan or photo of the documents in question to the following email: k.kiniorski@ron.mil.pl.
According to the plan, the 60 programme participants who achieved the best results in the test mentioned above will be eligible to take part in the cyber module. If more than one person achieves the same score in the test, an additional evaluation criterion will used, namely studying subjects relevant to the Cyber Defence Forces Component Command, i.e., computer science, cryptology, cyber security, mathematics and other related subjects.
Cyber security specialist training will be delivered at the Expert Cyber Security Training Centre in the external Specialised Training Department in Wałcz from 14 to 30 August 2023.
