Dr hab. Barbara Zbroińska prof. of the JKU

Dr hab. Barbara Zbroińska prof. of the JKU graduated with honours from the Faculty of Commerce, Transport and Services of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Economics. in Katowice. After graduating, she took up a job as an assistant at the Swietokrzyska University of Technology. She obtained her doctoral degree in economics at the Faculty of Domestic Trade of the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2012, she was awarded a postdoctoral degree in economic sciences at the Faculty of Finance of the Cracow University of Economics.

Since 1999, she has been employed at the Institute of Management at the Faculty of Management and Administration (now Faculty of Law, Administration and Management) of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, initially as an assistant professor and since 2012 as a professor at the JKU. Since 2000, she has been a member of the Council of the Faculty of Management and Administration and since 2008 a member of the Senate of the JKU.

In 2005, she was elected Deputy Dean for General and Financial Affairs of the Faculty of Management and Administration at the JKU for the term 2005-2008; in 2008, the academic community of the Faculty entrusted her with this function for the next term 2008-2012.

Since 2012, she has held the position of Deputy Rector for Development and Finance.

Her research and teaching interests are focused in the areas of economic sciences and corporate and public finance.

She was awarded the Medal of the National Education Committee and the Silver Cross of Merit for her professional achievements.
