audytor przy komputerze pokazuje wyniki klientowi The postgraduate course in Internal audit prepares for a career in public administration, state and private enterprises, as well as consulting and advisory firms. In addition, after completing the postgraduate course, it is possible to become an auditor – in accordance with Art. 286 sec. 1(d) of the Public Finance Act of 27 August 2009, „an internal auditor may be a person who has (...) two years' practice in internal auditing and holds a postgraduate diploma in internal audit, issued by an organisational unit which, on the date of issuing the diploma, was authorised, in accordance with separate acts, to confer the academic degree of doctor of economic or legal sciences”.

The postgraduate course in Internal audit is aimed at those wishing to expand their knowledge and develop their skills in terms of internal auditing. The participant will learn the fundamentals of internal auditing and auditing methodology. Also gaining an understanding of the elements of statistics, IT auditing, risk management, management control, and general information concerning economics and accounting. The course also intends to familiarise participants with the role of internal audit in combating corruption and fraud, public finance, and financial reporting. In addition, the student will learn the interpersonal skills necessary for audit proceedings. Finally, the student will participate in a workshops concerning the practical implementation of audit tasks.

Documents required for recruitment
  • application for admission to postgraduate studies - personal form (printed from the electronic recruitment system),
  • photocopy of a diploma confirming completing at least undergraduate degree studies – (Bachelor's, Engineer's, or Master's degree studies in any field of study) with the original to be presented for certification by JKU,
  • confirmation of performing the payment of the recruitment fee.

Classes are carried out in the form of meetings once or twice a month: on Fridays at 17:00–20:00, on Saturdays at 8:00–20:00 and Sundays at 8:00–16:00.

In order to graduate from the postgraduate course it is necessary to attend classes and obtain the credits and examinations required and specified in the study program.

  • A prerequisite for acquiring the Postgraduate Study Completion Certificate consist in:
  • class attendance (at least 80%),
  • achieving the provided credits and examinations.

Recruitment fee: PLN 85 – until the end of recruitment
Total cost of study: PLN 3085 (2 semesters x PLN 1500 + PLN 85)
Study fee payable in 2 equal instalments: First instalment PLN 1500 by the date of the first classes in the summer semester, second instalment - PLN 1500 by the date of the first classes in the winter semester
