Announcement of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce on April 6, 2020 on additional safety measures to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus

on additional safety measures to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus

 

Due to the temporary limitation of the university's operation, the need to ensure safe and hygienic working conditions and the obligation to comply with the requirements arising from the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of March 31, 2020 regarding the establishment of specific restrictions, orders and bans in connection with the occurrence of the state of the epidemic (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 566, as amended), I inform that:

  1. 1) in accordance with § 9 para. 7 point 3a the above-mentioned ordinance, disposable gloves or hand sanitizers are provided to persons employed irrespective of the basis of employment,
  2. in accordance with § 9 para. 7 point 3b the above-mentioned regulation, the distance between individual work stations must be at least 1.5 m, subject to exceptions provided for by law,
  3. The University regularly orders and distributes personal protective equipment among employees, including: masks, disposable gloves, disinfectants,
  4. in accordance with § 3 para. 2 of the abovementioned ordinance, the person undergoing the mandatory quarantine referred to in the ordinance shall inform the employer of its taking place; this information is transmitted via ICT systems or communication systems, including by telephone,
  5. in accordance with § 3 para. 3 of the abovementioned Regulation to pay the person undergoing the mandatory quarantine referred to in the Regulation for the period of its duration, the remuneration referred to in art. 92 of the Act of 26 June 1974 - Labor Code (Journal of Laws of 2019, items 1040, 1043 and 1495), or cash benefit due to illness specified in separate regulations, that person, within 3 working days of on the day of the end of the compulsory quarantine referred to in the Regulation, he shall submit to the employer or the entity obliged to pay cash benefit in case of sickness a written statement confirming the completion of the compulsory quarantine; this declaration can be made through IT systems or communication systems,
  6. in accordance with § 3 para. 6 of the abovementioned Regulation, the employer may apply to the competent body of the State Sanitary Inspection to verify the data contained in the declaration referred to in point 5.
