- The University Election Committee designates the following location for the election for the deputy rector of the University: Kielce, ul. Żeromskiego 5, University auditorium.
- The elections referred to above will take place at an election meeting on 6 December 2012, at 10:00.
- The candidate for the position of deputy rector for development and finance at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce for the 2012-2016 term is dr hab. Barbara Zbroińska.

Professional curriculum vitae
Dr hab. Barbara Zbroinska graduated with honours from the Faculty of Commerce, Transport and Services at the Karol Szymanowski University of Economics in Katowice. After graduating, she took up a job as an assistant at the Swietokrzyska University of Technology. She obtained her doctoral degree in economics at the Faculty of Domestic Trade of the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 1999, she has been employed as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management at the Faculty of Management and Administration of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (JKU). Following positive reviews of the academic output and habilitation dissertation on "Transaction costs of treasury". Institutional Analysis of Treasury Contracts", JKU Press 2011, the Council of the Faculty of Finance at the Cracow University of Economics adopted a resolution to admit dr Barbara Zbroińska to the postdoctoral colloquy, as a result of which she was awarded the degree of doctor habilitated in economic sciences on 22 October 2012.
In 2005, she was elected Deputy Dean for General and Financial Affairs of the Faculty of Management and Administration at the JKU for the term 2005-2008. She was again entrusted by the Faculty's academic community to serve a second term from 2008-2012. She has been a member of the Council of the Faculty of Management and Administration since 2000 and a member of the JKU Senate since 2008, and has chaired the Senate Committee on Development, Budget and Finance since October 2012.
During her employment, she improved her qualifications by participating in courses and trainings at home and abroad, including. in the course of the French Management Institute IFG Introduction to Business, Sommerschule, Institut für Betriebswirtschaftslehre der Klein – und Mittelbetriebe, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, International Seminar Gesamteuropäisches Studienwerk Vlotho/Germany, financed by the Ludwig Erhard Foundation in Bonn.
Research and teaching interests include micro and macroeconomics as well as corporate finance and public finance. Major scientific achievements include obtaining a grant from the Ministry of Science and Information Technology in 2005 as part of the 29th edition of the research project competition to fund the project Tax activity in business management, of which she was the main executor. Major achievements in the field of didactic work include participation in the implementation of a grant of the Ministry of National Education under the 3rd edition of educational grants for the organisation of Postgraduate Studies in Entrepreneurship for secondary school teachers in 2000. Since 2003, he has systematically organised and managed Postgraduate Studies conducted at the Faculty of Management and Administration of the JKU, participating in the development of original educational programmes. She participated in the implementation of the Edu-PROGRES project - Strengthening and developing the didactic potential of universities and increasing the number of graduates in faculties of key importance for the knowledge-based economy, financed from the OP HC funds, consisting in the development of a study plan and the creation of a specialisation in Marketing and Exhibition Management (2008-2011). She participated in the implementation of the Benild project for the development of Świętokrzyskie education staff, funded by the HC OP, aimed at organising Postgraduate Studies for teachers in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship (2010-2011). Participation consisted of developing an original study plan for the EU Funds field. Acquisition and management and substantive leadership.
From 1999 to 2008, she co-organised the Economic Knowledge Olympiad under the auspices of the Polish Economic Society (PES), chairing the committee evaluating competition entries at the school and district stages. She served as secretary of the Management Summer School organised by the Committee on Organisation and Management Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She is a member of the board of the Kielce branch of the PES and a member of the Society of Organisation and Management Sciences. In her role as deputy dean, she organised and chaired numerous meetings and seminars with representatives of science and business practice.
A separate focus of research activity resulting from cooperation between science, local government units and the business environment is work for the benefit of the region. In 2000, she took part in a research project commissioned by the Marshal's Office for the creation of a development strategy for the Świętokrzyskie voivodship, financed by the Ministry of the Economy. In 2010, she was in charge of one of the tasks of the project Perspectives of the Świętokrzyskie RSI - Stage II within the framework of the Human Capital Operational Programme 2007-2013, the subject of which is the innovation strategy of the voivodeship. Participation in the project culminated in the production of a report titled Analysis of the state of implementation of the Świętokrzyskie RSI, of which she is the author. She actively participated in the public consultation at the Marshal's Office on the National Regional Development Strategy, providing her own analysis and evaluation of the ministerial draft, posted on the Marshal's Office website (2009).
For her professional achievements, she was awarded the Medal of the Commission of National Education, conferred by the Minister of National Education on 10 July 2009, and the Silver Cross of Merit conferred by the President of the Republic of Poland on 31 August 2011.
Privately, she is the mother of two adult children.
